Located in the five-star InterContinental, Sake Restaurant & Bar Double Bay’s interiors balance comfort with a more contemporary styling and precise illumination. Classic materials mesh with new raw styling and a subtle Japanese influence. The restaurant also has a custom-built robata, a traditional Japanese grill. It has a variety of private spaces available, with the option to book the restaurant exclusively.

Yes, for all Events at Saké Restaurant & Bar Double Bay a set menu is required. We offer 2 set menus, The New Classics for $99pp and The Chef's Selection Premium Set Menu for $129pp. Both menus offer 8 beautiful courses displaying Saké's contemporary flair for Japanese cuisine. For cocktail style events we do offer a stunning Canape menu.

You are able to bring in your own cake. Please note, should you wish to provide your own cake, a cakeage fee will apply.
Saké Restaurant & Bar Double Bay is an elegant, modern venue which calls for a smart casual dress code.
We are able to hold group bookings and private dining spaces for a maximum of 24 hours as it is a live booking system. For larger events please speak to one of our Event Managers - this is dependent on other incoming enquiries and the timeframe of the event.
Saké Restaurant & Bar Double Bay has no onsite TV screens however, we have teamed up with a professional third party supplier who are able to deliver every AV need for your event. Please note, AV may only be used in private spaces or when the venue has been hired exclusively.
A room hire fee is subject to the venue and is event specific. A room hire fee and/or minimum spends will be provided upon quoting.
A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. It includes staffing costs. If, at the conclusion of your Event the minimum spend has not been met, the final bill will be rounded up to reach this amount accordingly. The deficit is payable on the day of and immediately after the conclusion of the Event, by cash or credit card. Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, security, AV etc is not included in the minimum spend.
A Service Charge is applicable on all groups of 10 guests or above.
Due to our location stemming from the lobby of the InterContinetal Hotel Double Bay, valet parking is available at the hotel. Limited metered street parking is also available, alternatively, the closest car park is Wilson Parking - 33 Cross St.
Saké Restaurant & Bar Double Bay is easily accessible by bus or ferry. We are located just 400m from Double Bay's Wharf so incoming ferries from Circular Quay offer easy access from the city centre. Additionally, buses run frequently from the city to Double Bay.
Yes, a 15% Public Holiday surcharge applies across all Rockpool Dining Group venues.

As per Qantas' Terms & Conditions, clients who are Qantas Frequent Flyer members are not eligible to earn, or redeem points for function, event, large groups and private dining room bookings.
