Located at the iconic 222 Brunswick Street in Fitzroy (made famous by Little Creatures and Fitzroy Social), El Camino Cantina is a large and loud, margarita-fuelled bar, with big-hitting Tex-Mex flavours and awesome tunes! The menu is unashamedly Tex-Mex – think unlimited free chips and salsa served in restored Ford and Chevy trunks, cheesy queso goodness, hand-made flour tortillas, street tacos, big burritos, sizzling fajitas, crisp quesadillas and nachos loaded with toppings.

This is the home of Melbourne’s biggest and best margaritas: they’re served frozen and on the rocks, in four flavours – classic, mango, strawberry and tropical Red Bull – and a new, limited-edition margarita is unveiled every month! Cold craft and Mexican beers and over 100 tequilas and mezcals are also available.The huge, 400-seat, illuminated warehouse features an expansive bar, intimate and large dining areas, and is perfect for either a quick drink or a party-group fiesta. El Camino Cantina Fitzroy has 3 small private dining room downstairs, (Acapulco, Lapaz and Playa del Carmen) as well as as Level 1 with Tijuana and the adjoining Mezzanine.

Yes, for all events at El Camino Cantina Fitzroy a set menu is required. We offer 3 different set menus including a shared platter concept menu. Alternatively, we offer both a platter and canape menu perfect for cocktail style events.
A set menu is implemented to ensure the highest quality of food and service for larger parties.
For events at El Camino Cantina Fitzroy both beverages on consumption and beverage packages are available. We recommend pre-selecting a range of beverages from our Bavarian-inspired beverage list in advance. Our standard recommendation is:

Yes, you may however, please bear in mind El Camino Cantina Fitzroy is already fully themed. Additionally, the Rockpool Dining Group Events Team can provide you with contacts to assist you with visually styling your event. Kindly note all decorations excluding floral arrangements are restricted to exclusive events only.

Yes, El Camino Cantina Fitzroy is a child-friendly venue. We offer a Los Ninos menu and can also provide highchairs for your little ones. Kindly note all children must always be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.
You may bring in your own cake. Please note, should you wish to provide your own cake, a cakeage fee will apply.

We can hold private dining spaces for a maximum of 24 hours as it is a live booking system. For larger events please speak to one of our Event Managers - this is dependent on other incoming enquiries and the timeframe of the event.
A room hire fee is subject to the venue and is event specific. A room hire fee and/or minimum spends will be provided upon quoting.
A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. It includes staffing costs. If, the minimum spend has not been met at the conclusion of your Event, the final bill will be rounded up to reach this amount accordingly. The deficit is payable on the day of and immediately after the conclusion of the Event, by cash or credit card. Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, security, AV etc. are not included in the minimum spend.
A Service Charge is applicable on all groups of 10 guests or more.
Yes, a 15% public holiday surcharge applies across all Rockpool Dining Group venues.
