This brand new, family-friendly venue located in the picturesque waterfront dining precinct of the regions largest shopping, dining and entertainment destinations offers an unrivalled range of Bavarian food, pure imported biers and non-stop sports entertainment broadcast across several big screens. The Bavarian Shellharbour will accommodate up to 400 guests with 300 seats spilling out onto an al fresco, timber-decked dining area adjacent to the boardwalk overlooking the natural waterway. Relax with a stein and enjoy the naturally lit interior, hanging plants with cascading greenery, the ultimate indoor/outdoor dining experience that reflects the relaxed coastal lifestyle of the region.

The diverse menu offers something for everyone, including traditional Bavarian favourites, such as The Bavarian's legendary crispy pork knuckle, crackling pork belly, a range of classic German and gourmet sausages, shared platters, and an assortment of schnitzels.The menu also has a contemporary spin with lighter bites such as chicken wings, pork bao buns and spicy squid, a range of loaded schnitzels with generous toppings and build-your-own salads from a checklist of fabulous, fresh ingredients.

At The Bavarian Shellharbour we do not have any private event spaces. However, our venue is very spacious and we can accommodate large groups across our main dining floor.

We are able to hold group bookings for a maximum of 24 hours as it is a live booking system. For larger events, please speak to one of our Event Managers - this is dependent on other enquiries and the timeframe of the event
The venue has 7 TV's on site. We have teamed up with a professional third party supplier who are able to deliver every AV need for your event. Please note, AV may only be used in private spaces or when the venue has been hired exclusively.
A room hire fee is subject to the venue and is event specific. A room hire fee and/or minimum spends will be provided upon quoting.
A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. It includes staffing costs. If, at the conclusion of your Event the minimum spend has not been met, the final bill will be rounded up to reach this amount accordingly. The deficit is payable on the day of and immediately after the conclusion of the Event, by cash or credit card. Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, security, AV etc is not included in the minimum spend.
A Service Charge is applicable on all groups of 10 guests or more.
