The Rocks Room is a heritage listed venue that overlooks Argyle Street. It thrives of sandstone walls, a floor to ceiling glass window, wooden pillars and floors and is simply stunning. The venue is two conjoined rooms that can facilitate a seated style function of up to 32 guests over one long table including heads or 64 over two long tables. The conjoined room is a private bar for your guests only – a perfect area to have arrival drinks and canapés. Alternatively, we can facilitate a cocktail style function over the two rooms for up to 120 guests. Given the PDR is a completely private room lends you to have presentations / speeches or your own DJ or entertainer and there is absolutely no passing restaurant trade as the location is up a very discreet stairwell. The two alternative seated styles of menus offered within this venue are from Sake Restaurant & Bar or The Cut Bar & Grill.

The Rocks Rooms is a dedicated event space featuring a beautiful heritage dining room with an adjoining lounge area and private bar. The room is versatile, suitable for both cocktail and sit-down events accommodating up to 64 guests seated in the dining room or 120 guests seated across both the dining room and lounge bar.
We understand your guests may have dietary requirements and we endeavor to do our very best to accommodate these. We kindly ask, that all dietary requirements are communicated to us as soon as possible for our kitchen team to offer alternative options.
We are a fully licensed venue, therefore we do not allow BYO.

Children are welcome to attend private events in the Rocks Room. Please note all minors must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.
Unfortunately, the Rocks Room does not have disabled access.
We offer a range of beautiful desserts and cakes however, you are able to bring in your own cake. Please note, should you wish to provide your own cake, a cakeage fee will apply.
Our beautiful events space is home to three diverse menus. The dress code is independent to each event.
We are able to hold private event bookings for a maximum of 24 hours as it is a live booking system. For larger events, please speak to one of our Event Managers - this is dependent on other enquiries and the timeframe of the event.
The Rocks Room has a TV screen on a stand available for hire. Should you have any further AV requirements, we have teamed up with professional third party suppliers who are able to deliver every AV need for your event. Please note, AV may only be used in private spaces or when the venue has been hired exclusively.
A room hire fee is subject to the venue and is event specific. A room hire fee and/or minimum spends will be provided upon quoting.
A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. It includes staffing costs. If, at the conclusion of your Event the minimum spend has not been met, the final bill will be rounded up to reach this amount accordingly. The deficit is payable on the day of and immediately after the conclusion of the Event, by cash or credit card. Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, security, AV etc is not included in the minimum spend.
A Service Charge is applicable on all groups of 10 guests or more.
Metered street parking is available. However, given the central location of The Rocks Room there is no onsite parking available.
