Yes, Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks is available for exclusive hire. Exclusively our venue can accommodate up to 206 seated and 425 guests cocktail style.
Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks has 2 semi-private dining rooms and 1 fully private dining room.

Cherry / Blossom:
Cherry and Blossom are our 2 identical semi-private dining rooms accommodating up to 8 guests. These spaces can also be combined - Cherry Blossom can accommodate up to 16 guests.

Bonsai:
Bonsai is our largest and only fully private dining room seating up to 30 guests seated and 45 guests cocktail style.
Yes, our menu can accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. Please specify dietary requirements when enquiring.
We are a fully licensed restaurant, therefore we do not allow BYO.
Yes, a set menu is required for any event at Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks. We offer 2 set menus, The New Classics for $99pp and The Chef's Selection Premium Set Menu for $129pp. Both menus offer 8 beautiful courses displaying Saké's contemporary flair for Japanese cuisine. For cocktail style events we do offer a stunning Canape menu.
A set menu is implemented to ensure the highest quality of food and service for larger parties.
For events at Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks both beverages on consumption and beverage packages are available. We recommend pre-selecting a range of beverages from our extensive beverage list in advance. Our standard recommendation is:

Yes, you may. Additonally, the Rockpool Dining Group Events Team can provide you with contacts to assist you with visually styling your event. Kindly note all decorations excluding floral arrangements are restricted to exclusive events only.

Please note we do not allow glitter, confetti or any decorations of offence.
Yes, Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks is a child-friendly venue. Please note our venue can provide highchairs and all minors must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian.
Our venue can provide disabled access and has disabled facilities on site. Please inform us if you require disabled access so managers can prepare accordingly.
We offer beautiful cakes and desserts, however you are able to bring in your own cake. Please note, should you wish to provide your own cake, a cakeage fee will apply.
Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks is a sophisticated, fine-dining venue, as such our dress code is smart casual.
We are able to hold group bookings and private dining spaces for a maximum of 24 hours as it is a live booking system. For larger events please speak to one of our Event Managers - this is dependent on other incoming enquiries and the timeframe of the event.
Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks does not have any onsite TV screens however, we have teamed up with a professional third party supplier who are able to deliver every AV need for your event. Please note, AV may only be used in private spaces or when the venue has been hired exclusively.
A room hire fee is subject to the venue and is event specific. A room hire fee and/or minimum spends will be provided upon quoting.
A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. It includes staffing costs. If, at the conclusion of your Event the minimum spend has not been met, the final bill will be rounded up to reach this amount accordingly. The deficit is payable on the day of and immediately after the conclusion of the Event, by cash or credit card. Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, security, AV etc is not included in the minimum spend.
A Service Charge is applicable on all events and group functions.
Metered street parking is available. However, given the central location of Saké Restaurant & Bar The Rocks there is no on-site parking available. Car parks located close by are:
