The Bavarian Tuggerah is a contemporary, casual restaurant with design features that reflect its Bavarian heritage, including stone walls, alpine finishes and large, communal wood tables. Signature details include a custom-designed, vintage beer barrel feature above the bar, drinking ledges framed by bi-fold glass windows and an impressive beer stein chandelier featuring over 500 1-litre glass steins. Green plants, hanging baskets and ivy garlands adorn the interior, adding a splash of colour and fresh feel. Large communal and high beer barrel tables are situated around a huge central bar, while several large-screen TVs offer an exciting schedule of live sports games. An al-fresco seating area, which runs the length of the restaurant, accommodates up to 60 guests, with folding awnings providing shelter from the elements. Two additional outdoor dining areas, positioned around a picturesque water feature, seat up to 94 guests and are inviting spaces to host functions and parties of different sizes.

Tuggerah locals, shoppers and cinema-goers can experience a true taste of our Bavarian hospitality, from big steins of beer to crispy pork knuckles and meat-loaded sharing platters.The menu is complemented by 17 beers on tap, including imported Bavarian favourites Lowenbrau, Franziskaner, Stiegl and Hofbrau. An iconic range of Australian and international craft brews join the line-up of German beers, including 4 Pines and Pirate Life (AUS), Goose Island, Budweiser (USA) and Stella Artois (EUR).

We are a fully licensed restaurant, therefore we do not allow BYO.
Yes, for all events at The Bavarian Tuggerah a set menu is required. We offer 3 different set menus including a shared platter concept menu. Alternatively we offer both a platter and canape menu perfect for cocktail style events.
A set menu is implemented to ensure the highest quality of food and service for larger parties.

Yes, you may. Additonally, the Rockpool Dining Group Events Team can provide you with contacts to assist you with visually styling your event. Kindly note all decorations excluding floral arrangements are restricted to exclusive events only.

Yes, The BavarianTuggerah is a child-friendly venue. We offer a kinder menu and can also provide highchairs for your little ones. Kindly note all children must be accompanied by their legal parent or guardian at all times.
Yes, The Bavarian Tuggerah has both disabled access and facilities within the Westfield dining precinct.
You are able to bring in your own cake. Please note, should you wish to provide your own cake, a cakeage fee will apply.
Our family-friendly restaurant calls for a casual dress code. We kindly ask for no offensive slogans or logos.
We are able to hold group bookings for a maximum of 24 hours as it is a live booking system. For larger events, please speak to one of our Event Managers - this is dependent on other enquiries and the timeframe of the
The Bavarian Tuggerah has 6 TVs on site. Additionally, we have teamed up with a professional third party supplier who are able to deliver every AV need for your event. Please note, AV may only be used in private spaces or when the venue has been hired exclusively.
A room hire fee is subject to the venue and is event specific. A room hire fee and/or minimum spends will be provided upon quoting.
A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. It includes staffing costs. If, at the conclusion of your Event the minimum spend has not been met, the final bill will be rounded up to reach this amount accordingly. The deficit is payable on the day of and immediately after the conclusion of the Event, by cash or credit card. Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, security, AV etc is not included in the minimum spend.
A Service Charge is applicable on all groups of 10 guests or more.
